Keep West Texas Wild- Marla Jones (Unisex)

from $25.00

2022 Community T-Shirt Design Contest Winner

Artist: Marla Jones

T-Shirt Description: “If you've been in West Texas long enough, you know that there is no place like it. Everyone knows that West Texas is dry, windy, and has oil, but not everyone knows the true unique character that the people of Midland hold. The city is packed with hidden gems, one of which being its people. The people that makeup West Texas unashamedly encapsulate the term "wild child" in all the best ways, and are proud of it. They are bold, they are adventurous, they are determined, they are West Texas.”

Artist Bio: My name is Marla Jones and I am 24. I am not in the design field at all, and I am actually in graduate school to become a clinical mental health therapist, and eventually earn a doctorate is psychiatry. I use art as a form of self care, and have started a custom shoe business recently, designing and customizing Air Force 1's. Though I do intend to sell the shoes I design, I really just enjoy art in general and use it as a creative outlet to maintain my mental health.
