Honorable Mention: Water Wonderland
Whether you grew up visiting Water Wonderland during its glory days, you take a (secret) visit since the doors closed, or you’re just wondering when this gem will reopen, we’re right there with you.
Water Wonderland has sat vacant and covered in weeds, graffiti, and past memories for the last 20 years. There are rumors that a family has purchased the land to restore the park to its former glory or to a brand new space for entertainment in the Permian Basin. Whether the rumors are true or the Odessa waterpark will still stand as an artifact, it still belonged on our list of Odessa’s Pools–don’t you think?
