Parks Legado Farmers Market
One of Odessa’s newer Farmers Markets takes place on the edge of town in the new Parks Legado Town Center. With plenty of space to spread out the local vendors, music, and food trucks, the shopping seems never-ending. If you’re a professional local shopper in Odessa and the surrounding area,s you might even find some of your favorite with a pop-up tent.
At Parks Legado Farmers Market, you’ll find more than just produce. F45 holds a free class on these select Saturdays to give you a preview of what an F45 workout looks like. If you need to get your zen and tree pose on, Roming Yoga brings sunrise yoga on these Saturdays too. These are all great options before diving into those brunch mimosas and waffles that we know will follow your shopping spree.
If working out is not your thing, Parks Legado has other entertainment such as live music, children’s arts and crafts, and outdoor games. This is the perfect opportunity to sit and enjoy the morning West Texas weather before getting devoured by mosquitoes and melting under the 100-degree sun.
For all the wanna-be influencers, one of our favorite parts of the market is the new photo wall. The bright white background makes for the perfect photo-op and the opportunity to brag to all your followers about your farmers market finds. Another unique feature of the Parks Legado Farmers Market is the lawn games. You’ll find everything from cornhole to table tennis happening as you’re making your purchase and we bet, you won’t be able to keep yourself from joining in.
If you’re interested in the products and goods, you’ll find all the farmers market classics like eggs, honey, and other veggies, but also some good, ol’ comfort food. Parks Legado invites a good variety of food trucks to enjoy before, during, or after your visit. When we say there are tons of vendors, we really mean it, there are almost 100 of them out there. This is a good way to be introduced to new businesses around Odessa and the owners behind the business.
Apart from the classics, there are goods like soaps, dog treats, salsa, jams, baked goods, and so much more. One of our favorites is the grass-fed beef, allergen-friendly goodies, and of course, Pecos cantaloupes and watermelons.
The last few times at the Parks Legado Farmers Market, Sewell Ford has had that iconic Ford Bronco on display if you’re needing another reason to drop by. Set up in the middle of all of the vendors, it’s pretty hard to miss while you’re walking around.
